Here we are, page 3 of 366 in the book of 2012. Seems like 2012 will be read as fast as 2011 was. I am hoping for more excitement and opportunities this year then I have ever expected in the previous ones. There are some kinks I need to work out ASAP but for now, I am not stressing over them. I am actually intrigued by how much things do not bother me anymore since I left Wal-Mart. I use to try to control EVERYTHING, but lately I have had the mentality of, “Except the things you cannot change.” Give me what you will life, I will keep making lemonade until the day I die.

Christmas was the best it had been in years! I was able to spend equal amounts of time with my Dad and Mom, and all my other relatives that are here in Tennessee. Earlier in the month of December, it was difficult to get in the “Christmas spirit,” but I found it eventually. Mid-way through December, I realized that I no longer have traditions. All my traditions that I use to have are gone. Everything is so different in my parent’s/my life, that its just too far gone to carry on the traditions. So next year, I will have to start some new ones with everyone. I think that should be interesting…

I am not as far along with learning Reason 4 as I would like to be, but I know I will get there eventually. I find it difficult trying to figure out how to do everything on the screen. I am more of a hands on learner, so physical keyboards and mixers would help big time, but I guess beggars cannot be choosers. Hopefully when school starts back up I can find someone who can teach me some pointers on how to use Reason. I know they have to exist out there in the world, especially at MTSU.

I am glad that I have moved on from being a dreamer to a doer. I do not regret doing everything I wanted to later in life, because I wanted to enjoy my youth as a normal person. I wanted to make the mistakes that everyone learns from, and grow into a better individual before moving on to the next phase of my life. So I will raise my glass to 2012, and the 12 chapters that will be full of opportunities and accomplishments, and welcome the challenges each day will bring!

I know it has been some time since I have last posted anything on here, however I will definitely try to change that since I will now use all sources of media to help myself achieve a very specific and personal goal(s). I assume that everyone would like a little summary of what has happened in my life thus far, for the fact of the reason mentioned above.

I had lost myself for some time and I couldn’t figure out exactly what I could do to help myself regain my life back. Everything began to mash together into one entity, and I couldn’t stop going with the motions of everyday life because they were programmed into my head to be second nature. Good news is that I caught a virus that completely overrode the program and I was able to regain my life back. The virus in this cause shall forever be known as, ADDERALL! dum dum DUMMMM!!

Adderall, along with a dose of “back to my roots,” has really helped restructure and organize my thoughts. Instead of just pondering about how I shall make it through the day, I now have two thoughts; How will I achieve my goal, and how can I use (said object/person) to achieve my goal. I realize that it sort of sounds like I am using people but rest assured, I am not. Adderall has made me feel like a normal person. I am no longer tired 24/7 and I have become way more ambitious. This miracle drug constantly takes me out of my comfort zone, to reveal more opportunities in life that I have never seen or knew I could have. Learning has become easier to grasp than a constant battle that I never thought I could win. I hate that I have wasted 26 years trying to catch up to every other human with normal learning abilities, but I am fine with it. I knew from a very early age that everything will come to me later in life then sooner. That is why I was born with a heart that has goals and ambitious that most people would have already given up on at my age. I feel like life came up to me…jumped into my arms…and said, “I am yours now. Do whatever your heart desires.”

So that brings me to the title of this blog, Lightspeed. There isn’t time to waste since I feel like I have already wasted 26 years just existing. At my age I should have already completely some of my goals, however in reality, I have completed zilch. I am going Lightspeed and no one can stop me. I have plans configured, support at the drop of the hat, and unlimited resources. Unlimited because if my brain can think it, then shall be it. I’m ready, but is the world? Only time will tell!

Signed up for Gold’s Gym! Finally going to work my butt off to get the body I have always wanted… Next I will work on my eating habits. I would like to be healthy for a change.

Evening Coffee Break

Lately I have been feeling like I will never amount to anything. This has been on my mind for quite some time now. I even had a nightmare last night that my father told me that I would never amount to anything and that I will always fail. Obviously my father would never think this but I do have to wonder why I dreamt this. I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do anything that is outside my norm. Which makes me feel like I will be stuck at Walmart forever! This means that I would have not amounted to anything and that my nightmare came true. I tried creating a resume but all I ever do is start and never finish it. It is not easy to put on paper how unproductive my life has been. My resume is not impressive at all. How am I to believe that someone will hire me when I don’t believe in myself? Life doesn’t come easy for me like most people I know. Opportunities do not come knocking on my door, I always have to go find them. It is very tiring and just once I wish that the opportunity would come find me. We will see what the next few weeks bring, because work is switching my assistant manager to another assistant manager that no one can stand. She talks down to everyone and hardly does any work at all. I believe she craves being a bitch. When she becomes my new assistant, it might be the push in the right direction that I need to finish my resume. Like I said, only time will tell what the next few weeks will bring.

Life seems to be getting more fast pace even though time seems to have sloooowed down quite a bit. I have not found a way to efficiently use this “extra” time towards something that would benefit myself in the future. It seems that I work extremely hard for what seems like 16 hours but only to actually have been 4 hours. However since my body feels like it has worked 16 hours, it shuts down on me and THAT is why I cannot find a more useful way to spend my time but to sit on the couch and watch t.v.

Today, Taylor and I are going apartment hunting. I cannot express how much I absolutely LOVE to look at homes and apartments. Years ago, when I was looking at apartments to live in with Victoria, I would look at places that we could not afford just because I love to look. However I need to focus more on school this semester so I will only be looking at places we and hopefully 2 others, can afford.

I recently have realized my ADHD is back in full force. So I will need to be scheduling an appointment soon to fill my prescription. I just hope it does not give me mood swings this time. I will be asking to try out another type of medication then the one the psychiatrist has been prescribing me. Here is hoping to the best!!

School…And Such….

It has been quite sometime since I have posted a blog. Plenty of events have happened since my last post (plenty of good things!). I am going to keep this one short because I am currently in class and should be paying attention..lol. My depression is officially over and has been over for a while. I have found a place in my mind that keeps reality simple and enjoyable. I am not stuck in this peace of mind I am able to deal with the hardships of reality if I need to. I have met someone who makes me completely happy, although I will probably never play Mario Party against them again .
School has just started and is going well. Hopefully I can make all “A”s this semester. I just have to get myself focused.

Sorry to cut this short but I really do need to focus while my teacher talks about Indie Labels.

Alas, tomorrow is the big day! I will be forced to stop eating junk food and exercise daily with this extremely popular program called P90X. No more sour gummy bears to keep me awake in Copyright Law, or coffee in the morning to please my caffeine needs. On the plus side, if I stick to the program I will hopefully no longer hate my body, but cherish it after 90 days of eating right and working out…90 looooong days… I know I can do it. Victoria is in her 2nd or 3rd week and she is still going strong. She can help me if I need it. Maybe this summer I can go to the beach and actually not wear a shirt…But thats all wishful thinking right now… I have to get through the 90 days first…lol…

P.S. During my Racquetball class I smacked knee first into a wall… My knee is 3 times it’s normal size and hurts a little, but i’ll get through it. I’m buying knee pads tomorrow…
